Aerodynamically profiled, state of the art Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU) with a number of user-friendly features will be introduced on Shalimar – Digha section on 22/04/2005. It has superior acceleration characteristic, wider windows, twin exit door, better riding and public address system. Manufactured by Integral Coach Factory, it is the third rake of its type on Indian Railway and the first in the Eastern region.
